Actually, back in Venice, with his "proper" job, as a gondolier, he has been in the newspaper, magazines, on the radio, in documentaries and even on TV: with actual famous people, does the names Suggs mean anything to anyone? He appeared in Suggs' Italian Job, teaching Mr Suggs how to row a gondola, quite compelling viewing.
